Performance "Early Spring"

Based on the novel “THE COMING SPRING” by Stefan Żeromski The new adaptation of Stefan Żeromski’s “THE COMING SPRING” does not offer simple truths or obvious answers. This is “THE COMING SPRING” seen through the eyes of a veteran – dark and painfully relevant.

It is a journey into the wounded psyche of young Cezary Baryka – a man whose adolescence coincided with the revolution and war. A period marked by great hopes, but also death and moral decay. War traumas do not leave Cezary, who mentally never left the trenches. Are the characters he meets on his way not just projections of a shattered mind? His view of the world, people, the future – everything is filtered through the prism of PTSD and the inability to find his place in the new, “rebuilding” Poland.
