The Opole Triathlon 2025 is a triathlon competition held over the 1/8 Ironman and 1/4 Ironman distances. The event will take place on May 24, 2025 (Saturday) at the swimming pool in Nowe Siołkowice (Popielów commune, Opole province). The event is organized by the Sports Club “Grupa Triathlonowa Kona”.
Dates and Location Date: May 24, 2025 (Saturday)
Location: Swimming pool in Nowe Siołkowice On the day before the event (23.05.2025) and on the day of the competition, the competition office will be open, where participants will receive their starting packages.
Distances and Routes Distance
1/8 IM: 475 m swim, 22.5 km bike, 5.25 km run Distance
1/4 IM: 950 m swim, 45 km bike, 10.5 km run Swimming start in the “rolling start” formula, 2 competitors every 5 seconds Non-drafting bike route (minimum 10 m distance) Bike helmet required on the bike stage
Start number required during the run, measuring chip on the ankle at all times Time limits (1/8 IM: swim – 20 min, swim+bike – 1h20min, total – 2.5h; 1/4 IM: swim – 40 min, swim+bike – 2h40min, total – 4h)
Duathlon Children 0-5 years: approx. 200 m bike + approx. 100 m run
6-10 years: approx. 400 m bike + approx. 200 m run
11-15 years: approx. 800 m bike + approx. 400 m run Participation for children is free, limited number of places.
