Open-air cinema Opole Szczepanowice

On August 9th, we cordially invite all residents, families, and summer enthusiasts to a unique evening of outdoor film and entertainment, which will take place at the Szczepanowice Volunteer Fire Department headquarters. This will be an opportunity not only to spend time together but also to create beautiful summer memories. Organized at the initiative of the Szczepanowice-Wójtowa Wieś District Council, the event was conceived as a joyful, intergenerational gathering where everyone – regardless of age – will find something to enjoy.

Starting at 7:00 PM, children will enjoy colorful entertainment, a creative art corner, a literary adventure with a mini marathon called “Aunt Jadzia in the Country,” and a rural obstacle course for those who are not afraid of a challenge and good fun. As darkness falls, we’ll begin our evening of cinema – first at 8:00 PM with the fairy tale “Basia. Ma swój świat” (Basia’s World), which will captivate and amuse the youngest, and then, at 9:00 PM, with the family film “Wiki i jej tajemnic” (Wiki and Her Secret), which will transport us to a world of adventure, emotion, and the extraordinary bond between humans and nature.

There will also be free popcorn, and the evening will be enhanced by sitting together on blankets, listening to children’s laughter, and the company of neighbors with whom we may not have time to talk in our everyday lives. Admission to the event is completely free, so just bring something to sit on, snacks, and—above all—a good mood.

This unique event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our partners: the City of Opole, Marshal of the Opole Voivodeship Andrzej Buła, Branch No. 14 of the Opole Municipal Public Library, and the Opole Lamy Association, which will provide professional filming.
