Nature walk in the Olszak reserve

Another trip to the mountains, this time to an even more extraordinary place – the Olszak Nature Reserve in the Opawskie Mountains! This will be more than just a walk, but also an opportunity to learn more about the region’s nature.

During the route (approx. 8.5 km), we’ll take a closer look at acidophilous oak forests, discover what plants grow in this unique ecosystem, and discover the composition of the Opawskie Mountains themselves. And that’s not all! The Olszak Reserve is also home to two endemic insect species – so there’s truly something to admire.

Start at 10:00 AM at the parking lot at the Rosenau Amusement Park – Lost City in Pokrzywna.

It’s worth remembering that the route has some steep ascents and descents, so be sure to bring comfortable hiking boots and a drink in your backpack. Unfortunately, the trail isn’t suitable for strollers – if you’re planning to take little ones, it’s best to use a carrier. A small but important note: we’re entering a nature reserve, so its rules apply. This means we can’t take dogs this time.
