The Nysa County Museum invites you to a night tour of Nysa: “Hereditas pretiosa” – Nysa’s precious heritage discovered by moonlight. An extraordinary journey promises to take place on August 1st – full of secrets, light, and stories you won’t find in guidebooks. The route of the night walk through Nysa has been planned through places normally inaccessible: the attic of the Gothic Basilica of St. James with a panoramic view of the city.
A collection of sacred goldsmith art will be presented in the historic bell tower – chalices, monstrances, and sculptures deeply rooted in the region’s history. The Bishop’s Palace, once the seat of the Wrocław bishops and princes of Nysa, now the building of the Nysa County Museum, will become the perfect space for stories about former rulers and their legacy. There are things you won’t find online.
