80 years after the war...

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, we invite everyone to a unique historical event “80 years after the war…”, which will take place at the Training Ground in Baborów (ul. Głubczycka, direction Sułków). This is an extraordinary opportunity to move into the realities of World War II and see up close what the fight, military equipment and soldiers’ lives looked like.

The area for visitors opens at 10:00, and the program includes, among others: thematic exhibitions about World War II, a zone of uniformed services and military vehicles, heavy equipment rides and helicopter flights, horse drill shows, ASG shooting range, weapon and melee weapon shows, competitions, off-road zone, presentations of reenactment groups and entertainment for children. The biggest attraction will be a historical reconstruction of the end of World War II using an attack aircraft and pyrotechnic effects – starting at 5:00 p.m.

At the end, there will be an artistic block – a performance by the duo of Paulina and Karolina Świerczek (7:00 p.m.) and an evening dance party from 8:00 p.m. The event takes place as part of the Interreg Czech Republic-Poland project and aims to jointly commemorate the end of the war and historical education in an attractive and engaging form.
