Youth Football Tournament to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Pogoń Prudnik

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Pogoń Lwów and Polonia Bytom Sports Complex in Prudnik will host a unique event – ​​the Youth Football Tournament to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Pogoń Prudnik. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.

This is a unique opportunity to see young footballers in action, competing with incredible enthusiasm and passion on the pitch, and at the same time experience the anniversary atmosphere of a club that plays a significant role in the history of sport in Opole Silesia.

Pogoń Prudnik was founded in September 1945, becoming the first officially registered sports club in the region. Its origins are linked to the work of Major Zygmunt Sobolta – a captain in the Polish Army, an independence and sports activist, who co-founded the club and served as its first president.

The tournament isn’t limited to just sporting competition. Participants and fans will enjoy numerous accompanying attractions, including:

• an inflatable obstacle course,
• entertainment,
• sports workshops,
• trophies and medals,
• refreshments – ice cream and popcorn, 
• a unique foam party in club colors.

All attractions are free, making the event a perfect option for an active family afternoon in Prudnik.
