Visitors can see the Oppersdorff Hall, full of memorabilia from the famous owners of the castle, as well as the Beethoven Hall, which commemorates the composer’s stay in Głogów in 1806. In this room you can see copies of the masters’ portraits and publications about his life and work. The next piece is waiting for you in the green living room with a collection of watercolor city landscapes by Alojzy Wierzgoń. In the tower, which serves as a guard tower and a city prison, prison cells can be used, including a torture chamber with real, real technicians for prisoners. Gas Industry Museum in Paczków – the only such museum in Poland
The Gas Museum, located in an old gasworks, is a unique place that takes us back to the times when gas played a key role in urban life. The museum has fully preserved the original gas production equipment, including the historic production line. You will find over 3,000 exhibits here, including gas lanterns, as well as everyday appliances such as stoves, heating stoves, and even a gas refrigerator. One of the unique elements of the collection is the largest collection of home gas meters in Europe, numbering as many as 600 pieces! The old gasworks, lit by gas lanterns, creates an amazing atmosphere, and a walk through its interior is a real journey to the industrial era.

Museum of the Uprising on Góra św. Anna – in the footsteps of the Silesian Uprisings
This museum is a tribute to the participants of the Silesian Uprisings, and its location on Mount St. Anny is not accidental. The area around this place witnessed the bloodiest fighting during the Third Silesian Uprising in 1921. The museum collections number almost 2.5 thousand exhibits, including banners and battle orders from the times of the fight for the return of Silesia to Poland. The museum’s attraction is the Panorama of the Silesian Uprisings – a 15-minute “light and sound” spectacle that takes visitors into the exciting atmosphere of those days. The museum also offers exhibitions devoted to the history of the national movement in Silesia and the activities of organizations such as the “Sokół” Gymnastic Society.

Museum of Opole Silesia in Opole – history, archeology and art in one place
In the baroque building of the former Jesuit college, which is the seat of the Opole Silesia Museum, a wealth of historical treasures awaits you.
